Candidates wishing to get admission in Madras Institute of Technology should fulfil the course-specific eligibility set by the college. Admission in BTech is purely based on Class 12 marks (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) Counselling process. Postgraduate (ME/MTech) accepts valid scores from the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA-PG) or GATE exam.
